...so today was all about Green Day (dear god)
A short one tonight...mega tired!
Right, so after a loooong night researching for 'The songs they tried to ban' and updating NME.COM's confusing picture system CMS, I uploaded the captions to the website this morning.

Right, so after a loooong night researching for 'The songs they tried to ban' and updating NME.COM's confusing picture system CMS, I uploaded the captions to the website this morning.

After flicking through this week's issue of NME (teehee we get it a day early), I was then asked to research and write for a new gallery '30 Things You Never Knew About Green Day'. I found some pretty interesting stuff - here's a few for you:
- The drummer Tres Cool went to clown school before joining the band. He also only has one testicle after a unicycle accident. Ouch.
- The band started riots at their set at Woodstock 1994, during which the bouncers mistook bassist Dirnt for a stage-invading fan and knocked his teeth out!
- Singer Billie Joe had the nickname 'Two Dollar Bill' in high school for selling spliffs to fellow students at the bargainous price of, you got it, $2!
It's not online yet but I will post it as soon as. And that's what I did today.
Doves are in the NME Radio studio next week - will try and sneak a peek!
Going to the Instigate Debate tomorrow night - cannee wait! Carl Barratt, Babyshambles' Drew McConnell, and John 'Reverend' McClure are playing an intimate gig at London's Boogaloo, as well as Get Cape Wear Cape and Fionn Regan...so yeah, that's gonna be sweet!
