...so today was all about this week's new issue

Following on from my earlier blog, here's an update on what I got upto today at NME.

It wasn't the most productive day I have at the website but I was of some use all the same.

After yesterday's buzz about the Reading and Leeds fest line-up announcement, I was asked to update the website with the new info, which didn't take too long. The most annoying thing about the CMA system is that I have to delete all of last year's previous line-ups before I can add the new ones. Because a lot of the dates were defaulted to running from 2008 to 2012, the system can take a ridiculous amount of time to load each day within this time frame before I can start deleting bands....which often results in the system crashing. Oh how I have come to hate Firefox!

But you get over it. And eventually I got the new line-up online - so take a look on the festival section of NME.COM now.

After this I then had to go through this week's issue of NME and write summary captions and quotes to accomany a photogallery, due to go live on Thursday, including the Kings Of Leon cover pic (swoonin'ell), the Shellac does ATP feature and Super Furry Animals' 'What Rock'nRoll Taught Us'.

I'll post the link to the gallery when it's online :)

I should be taking some pics of the offices to put up this week so watch this space...

Over and out.
